You may have heard about Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), which is the formation of a blood clot in a deep vein. But you may not know that March is DVT Awareness Month. This public health initiative is aimed at raising awareness about this commonly occurring medical condition and its potentially fatal complication––pulmonary embolism.
