We’ve now completed more than 40,000 minimally invasive procedures. In fact, MVP is the largest outpatient specialty vein practice by volume in the State of Maryland and averages over 300 new patients per month, with offices in Annapolis, Chevy Chase, Columbia, and coming soon to Towson. Using the Venefit procedure exclusively, MVP currently performs more radiofrequency ablations than any practice in the U.S.

Did you know that Dr. Jonathan Calure first worked as a part-time flight engineer at the NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center?

Did you know that Dr. Peter Liao is an expert on weight loss, bariatric counseling, and minimally invasive endoscopic surgery?

Did you know that Dr. Peter Whittaker is an avid runner, triathlete and guitar player?

Did you know that Dr. Jon Hupp has a passion for sailing and boating and spends much of his spare time restoring and rebuilding “older” boats?

Did you know that Dr. Jane
 Lingelbach especially enjoys spending time with family, and she loves experiencing the museums and other attractions of DC and the surrounding area as seen through the eyes of a child?

Crystal, Sonographer: She and her husband like traveling, playing putt putt, taking walks and playing Frisbee, going to dinner and movies.

Laura, Sonographer: She and her husband like to go to the movies and take their baby daughter out to new places. They enjoy eating vegetarian health food. She’s learning how to run exercise groups in order to stay motivated!

April, Sonographer: She took Kung Fu for many years and competed in many tournaments. She also enjoys refurbishing old furniture pieces!

Mulu, Sonographer: The most important thing for Mulu is her family. She loves movies based on a true story. She loves to see happy faces, coffee and traveling. She hates snakes. Her favorite holiday is Christmas.

Stephanie, Sonographer: She loves scuba diving, skiing, and spending vacations at the beach with her family. She was in the Army and was the first female expert marksman in the platoon. She loves to spend quiet time reading and watching movies on the weekends.

Kim: Waved to Princess Diana at Kensington Palace and she waved back when Kim visited England back in the late 1980s.

Maureen: Met Sugar Ray Leonard after he won the Welter Weight title, President H. W. Bush, General Schwarzkopf (Desert Storm), Sam Donaldson, The Kennedys, Dick Chaney and Janet Reno. She also loves to travel and has visited some of the wonders of the world like Stonehenge, Niagara Falls and the Grand Canyon. She seems to see people she knows almost everywhere she visits like on an escalator in Las Vegas, a museum in Key West, a shopping center in West Palm Beach, at a restaurant in Disney World, in an airport in the Bahamas, snow skiing, etc.

Kenitra, Medical Tech, Columbia office: Can wiggle her ears.

Lacey, Medical Tech: Has met Rick Dempsey, former Baltimore Orioles catcher, and has climbed Mt. Rainer in Washington.
